I’ve spent nearly 40 years with my eye behind a viewfinder, trying to freeze slices of life into photographs that tell others a story.  I hope they evoke an emotion, clarify a scene, bring understanding and truth to the viewer. 

I’ve made a living doing this for the Dayton Daily News for 33 years, and fact is, it really wasn’t a job at all.  I got paid to experience life, and share it with thousands of readers.  Just moments in time, frozen forever.  I intend to keep my eye behind the viewfinder, looking for new images to share.
